What’s the story behind die Kleine Hilfe e.V.?
And after my first trip to a Tibetan refugee camp in the Himalayan region, I started my organization Die Kleine Hilfe e.V. in 2006. Witnessing first hand the sometimes shocking living conditions of people in these areas, gave life to our agenda and concept:
Providing free medical camps and on these trips we evaluate how to best serve the various communities. This approach has proven to be very successful.
Apart from the projects described on this website, what other projects does the organization support?
March 2002: Burma - 3 months Coimbatore, South India
March 2003: Afghanistan Chalk
October 2003: Coimbatore, South India
October 2004: Pakistan, Peshawar
October 2005: Pakistan, Peshawar
October 2006: Eastern Nepal

Do small amounts help?
When we started die Kleine Hilfe e.V., we started with small amounts (5 EUR or 10 EUR) donated to us by friends and family. From the collection of these small amounts we were able to finance quite a lot of our projects over the past few years. With the bigger donations we receive, we are of course able to finance and invest in our projects quicker and to a larger scale.
